is a cooperative, which means we are owned and controlled by those we
serve. You are a member/owner of PEC! Every member has a voice in our
operation, illustrating the heart of the cooperative business. A
member elected board of directors determine the policies of the
cooperative, ensuring that our membership is always represented. We are
a nonprofit organization. This means we deliver electricity at the
lowest price possible. Our employees are among the most respected people in the area. They are
your neighbors and friends, and are committed to making the community a
better place to live. Most importantly, all of our employees have a
common thread, they have strong interest in those they serve. We pride ourselves on understanding our members and working
cooperatively with them. Our mission is to work hard and to treat you
honestly and courteously. Finally, we believe commitment means accepting the challenges of the
future and searching for opportunities to offer other quality services
to you, at a reasonable price. PEC has been serving your community since
1935 - a rich history of commitment, progress, and most of all,
