Winners announced for 2010 Washington Youth Tour Writing Contest

Approximately 350 high school students in the PEC service area competed for prizes including a week-long tour of Washington, D.C., cash awards and college scholarships.
  A total of 11 winners were chosen. The winners are Sarah Killingsworth, Lauren Barber, Melanie Kelley, Jake O’Brien and Esthelee Wright from Adamsville High School and Chaseton Donahoe, Macy Oldham, Dalton Parker, Samantha Lambert, Nikki Jernigan and Dillon Rorie from McNairy Central High School.
  The first place winners -- Sarah, Lauren, Chaseton and Macy will receive an all-expense paid trip to Washington, D.C. the week of June 11-17. 
  PEC has been participating in this program since 1968 and is proud to promote the youth in our communities.
